RE2 Remake is modern gameplay melded with the classic survival horror experience that the original games were all about. Village is good but IMO 7 is much better if you want to play one of the first person games. Village is essentially re4 with 7s engine and first person play.
The better things about RE2 is. -Many setpiece moments are much better crafted than most RE games. -Anti-frustrated gameplay design. -Original monster design (hardly able to top when you have the one-of-a-kind Licker, evolving G and Trenchcoat Tyrant in one game) -Tons of unlockable and modes. -4 main scenarios.
